1. Chicken Wings

No Super Bowl party is complete without a platter of buffalo wings smothered in your favorite sauce. Try baking instead of frying for a healthier option.

I love a little sweet heat so these Sriracha Honey Wings hit the spot. If you like a stronger punch of flavor these Garlic Lime Wings and these Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings.

Dry rubs are right up my alley as the wings can stay crispy. My Southwest Spiced Wings and Jerk Chicken Wings are just that.

Plus then you can use your favorite dipping sauces like blue cheese or Ranch!

Burgers are always a great choice for watching football. For me, bite size is better which is why I love sliders.

These mini sandwiches are great for watching the game or filling your plate during the halftime show!

My favorite ones are filled with hearty ground beef and tons of cheese. Which is why my Cheeseburger Sliders are a crowd pleaser. Right up there with my Big Mac Sliders and Sloppy Joe Sliders.

If you prefer something other than ground beef, these Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders and Pork Tenderloin Sliders are for you.

Want a cold one or even a meatless one? Try my Club Sliders and my Italian Veggie Sliders. Now there is something for everyone!

Dipping a chip or a cracker into a dish full of melty cheese is right up there on my to-do list for sure. And any one of these will be the MVP of your Super Bowl spread.

7. Pizza

Most people order pizza because it’s super easy to do. But with everyone ordering you might have to wait a long time to get it.

Make these pizza inspired dishes instead. You will still get to enjoy all your favorite toppings:)

A Crockpot Pizza Dip will stay warm and cheesy during the game. Serve it with chips made from pizza crust for more of that pizza flavor.

Make Pizza Pinwheels instead of bagel pizzas or Pizza Rolls. They are more filling and delicious!

9. Crock Pot Dishes for a Crowd

Setting aside the appetizers and finger foods for a second, let’s talk about a big batch of something yummy. In my opinion some of the best foods to make for a crowd come in a crock pot.

They are easy to throw together, stay warm throughout the game, and you can serve them a few different ways.

Tacos and hot dogs make easy “Food Bars” to set up. Just add some taco shells or buns, some toppings, and let your football fans go wild making their own meal.

Whip up a batch of my Crockpot Taco Meat or toss some Hot Dogs in the Slow Cooker and sit back and relax.

Some of my other favorites to make are my Pork Carnitas, Crack Chicken, BBQ Pulled Chicken. They feed a crowd and taste great on slider buns!

Plus these are great to make ahead of time. If you don’t eat them all before the game starts.

You can’t go wrong with these Football Cookies. They are super cute and are full of peanut butter and chocolate! TheseBacon Salt Brownies are a salty sweet combo. And they have BACON so there’s that.

Should I make anything in advance?

Yes, definitely prepare you party dips, desserts, or any dishes you can refrigerate or warm up easily ahead of time. This allows you more time to enjoy the game and hang with your friends and family.

How much food should I have?

Plan for at least a couple of party appetizers per guest, plus beverages, sides, and dessert. It’s better to have too much than run out.

The rule for entertaining is 2-3 pieces/servings per person per hour. This can vary depending on the types of dishes you are serving.

Do guests prefer sweet or savory snacks?

I don’t know about you but when I have something salty, I always want something sweet right after. Try and keep an good mix of the two or serve something that has both!
