The B+ mushroom is a resilient psilocybe cubensis variety that produces big, beautiful, caramel colored caps and thick stems. Rumor has it, a mycologist in Florida, “Mr. G.”, may have discovered it in the 1990’s. Many say the “B” stands for “big fruits” and the “plus” means “really big fruits.” We get on board with that. The B+ mushroom is known in the mycology world for producing some of the biggest mushrooms seen in the cubensis species.
