Chrissy Teigen famously offered up her husband's underwear in exchange for some overripe bananas earlier this month, and following the success of her unique crowd sourcing efforts, the cookbook author has shared her original recipe for 'Banana Bundt Bread'.

The bread, which features bananas, vanilla pudding, chocolate and coconut, not only sounds delicious, but the recipe will be featured in the follow up to her first bestselling cookbook, Cravings.

Giving her 14.6 million Instagramfollowers a taste of what's to come, Chrissy, 31, took to Instagram share a snapshot of her handwritten recipe, proving that the brown bananas she searched for on Twitter were put to good use.

'Heading into the final week of recipe developing for #cravings2!' she captioned the image. 'You guys have been such a huge part of this one...I've loved seeing what you guys enjoyed making the most and learning what you want more of.

'You guys...are awesome. And I miss posting food. I'm going to Instagram a lot more freaking food and if you don't like it you can suck it! Love you.'

Chrissy's recipe includes detailed instructions, as well as her recommendation to serve with 'sweet salty butter'.

'Irish butter [is] my fave,' she noted.

Less than two weeks ago, Chrissy was in desperate need for brown bananas, and she turned to her 7.78 million Twitter followers for help.

'If u have 6 BROWN bananas in the LA area, I will send my assistant to your home with a signed cookbook, John's underwear and a Becca palette,' the model propositioned her fans.

To coerce those who may have thought she was pulling a prank, Chrissy followed up her request with another tweet.

'SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. please send me a photo of u holding the bananas, giving the peace sign,' was posted one minute after the original tweet.

The response was overwhelming, and she had a variety of responses within five minutes as her fans sprang into action, tweeting photos of themselves holding their overripe bananas just as she’d asked.

Chrissy realized there are no safety guidelines for bartering for produce on social media so she sent out another text with instructions.

'Just for safety, my assistant asks that u taste a small piece of the banana in front of her before making the trade.' the Lip Sync Battle host tweeted as a precaution.

The mother of one-year-old Luna had her request filled in just under 10 minutes as she tweeted: 'Banana submissions are now closed. Thank you guys so much I will send the runner ups some banana bread once done'.

Chrissy's assistant - aka her mom - made the trek to pick up the priceless fruit as she took pictures of the exchange and posted them on Chrissy's Twitter.

One of the banana donors tweeted a picture of the rewards and asked if she should frame the Calvin Klein underwear. However, that wasn't the end of the saga.

'I really, really hate to say this but. I need one more banana,' Chrissy explained when she returned to Twitter.

Chrissy's mother ended up heading back out for two more bananas, and she happily posed for a photo with her daughter's second savior.

'This is no longer my banana bread. this is *our* banana bread,' the Lip Sync battle star tweeted of the group effort to complete the recipe.

After it was all said and done, Chrissy shared videos of herself making the bread, and she was overjoyed when she sliced up the final product.

'Look how pretty it is. Look at how moist. Get in there. Oh my gosh,' she says while sharing a close-up clip of her banana bread.
