Can you make brats in the Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi?

Easy Air Fryer Beer Brats (Ninja Foodi Recipe) (4)

Yes, you can make brats in the Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi. The cook time will vary a bit depending on how you cut and prepare the brats.

For instance, this Air Fryer Bratwurst and Vegetables are going to be a shorter cook time because the brats are cut into smaller pieces.

These Air Fryer Beer Brats will cook for about 15 minutes at 365 degrees. Once you have them cooking, you will add them to your favorite sub loaf or hot dog bun then serve them up!

Can you use foil in the Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi?

For most of my Ninja Foodi Recipes that use the Air Crisp function or the Air Fryer, you can use foil. It actually makes things much easier to clean up too, but you do need to make sure you roll up the sides so that you can keep the air circulating.

How do you cook Johnsonville Brats in the Air Fryer?

First, you will want to pick up the Beer Brats variety if you prefer that flavor, if not you can use the original too. Once you have the brats picked out, be sure to thaw them first.

When I am making Air Fryer Beer Brats, I like to start by having the onions and peppers on the bottom, then placing the brats on top. I typically will slice the brats down the middle but not all the way through this way some more of the flavor comes out a bit in the air fryer, in my opinion.

Once the brats are cooking, you will want to cook them at 365 degrees for about 7-8 minutes, then open up the air fryer and turn them plus mix up the vegetables too. Once this is done continue cooking for an additional 7 minutes or until the brats are well done.

We stick with an internal temperature of 165 degrees to be well done.

Now, are you ready to eat? We are! Let’s watch a game, enter the contest and enjoy these Air Fryer Beer Brats!
