Portland Trail Blazers vs. Miami Heat in 15-game Super Monday

The Portland Trail Blazers take on the Miami Heat tomorrow night, but by no means will it be the only game in the league…

Basketball fans, rejoice! Starting Monday at 5:00 p.m. PT, every NBA team will participate in a 15-game basketball bonanza. Best of all, League Pass junkies won’t be the only ones who can enjoy the festivities. All the action will stream for free on the NBA app, with games 15 minutes apart.

It’s like a national NBA holiday, with all the league’s characters on display – from rising rookies Paolo Banchero and Jabari Smith (and Shaedon Sharpe, of course!), to established heavyweights like LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo (and Damian Lillard, maybe??).

The Portland game is scheduled for the 6:30 p.m. Pacific timeslot, but here are some other notable games to watch throughout the night (all hours Pacific):

5:45 p.m. – New Orleans Pelicans versus. Indiana Pacers: It’s always fun to check out former Blazer CJ McCollum and Pacers rookie Bennedict Mathurin are preparing for a first rookie of the year campaign.

7:00 p.m. – Boston Celtics versus. Memphis Grizzlies: Jayson Tatum. Ja Morant. Sign me up.

20:00 – Sacramento Kings versus. Golden State Warriors: After slow start, 3-5 Kings ride wave of good vibes past De’Aaron Fox nailed a half-court buzzer-beater against the Magic This weekend. Meanwhile, the Warriors 3-7 are off to a rocky start. Things could get interesting near the bay.

The full slate precedes a non-basketball day, so get your fix while you can. As part of an NBA campaign to encourage citizens to vote, no games will take place on Tuesday, November 8 for US Election Day.
